如是我闻：
一时
有无量菩萨摩诃萨众。
尔时
“有四种法，菩萨摩诃萨尽其寿量，常应修行，
乃至虽遇丧命因缘，亦不得捨。何者为四？
诸苾刍、菩萨尽寿，乃至逢遇丧命因缘，必定
不得捨菩提心；诸苾刍、菩萨尽寿，乃至逢遇
丧命因缘，必定不得捨善知识；诸苾刍、菩萨
尽寿，乃至逢遇丧命因缘，不得弃捨堪忍爱
乐；诸苾刍、菩萨尽寿，乃至逢遇丧命因缘，
必定不得捨阿兰若。诸苾刍！如是四法，菩萨
尽寿，常应坚持，寧丧身命而不
尔时
“诸明慧者修行此法，速能超出众魔
疾证无上正等菩提。”

苾刍等欢喜奉行。
